Gerald Albright '74 & Gayle Brandeis '90

New plaques featuring a photo and short bio about individual graduates are going up at select venues around Redlands. The first two to be completed focus on well-known jazz saxophonist Gerald Albright, and popular author and activist Gayle Brandeis and will become a part of the University of Redlands décor and photos at the Ayres Hotel on Colton Avenue. More are in the works, and will be turning up all over town, showcasing the accomplishments and achievements of many of our graduates.More

Monique Hernandez

Kay Kallander '86,'93
American Baptist Homes of the West (ABHOW’s) senior vice president of strategic planning, received the LeadingAge Award of Honor at the 2014 LeadingAge Annual Meeting. This is the highest recognition from LeadingAge, a national association representing 6,000 nonprofit aging-services organizations throughout the United States.
Chester '55 & Marilyn '52 Harter
It wasn’t love at first sight, but there was chemistry that led to a first date for pre-med majors Chester (Chet) and Marilyn (Mac) Mackenzie Harter. That first date led not only to a humor-filled, 62-year marriage, but an even longer commitment that wasn’t part of their vows—annual attendance at the University’s Feast of Lights.
